Join us for an evening of brain food, wine and mocktail pairings (and some serious food for thought) with NeuroTrition and Yellow Door Bistro.
We are excited to partner with Executive Chef Quinn Staple and his culinary team at Yellow Door Bistro for our latest Brain Food Dinner Party (BFDP, for short).
Guests will leave well fed. And well educated (and just maybe with a few neurons blown).
Think local, seasonal, sustainable Alberta ingredients seamlessly transformed into decadent FRENCH classics—that’s our inspiration for this BFDP.
Oh, and of course think Brain Food. Because eating for brain and mental health doesn't have to be boring—and we are going to show you just how delicious it can be.
As each course is being served, you will get schooled by NeuroTrition's Orsha Magyar, on the exciting brain science behind the ingredients in the dish and paired mocktail in front of you. And Yellow Door’s sommelier will be disucssing the perfect wine pairings. You will also have an opportunity to meet and listen to Chef Quinn describe his vision behind this culinary exploration, and his experience working with NeuroTrition on our newest brain child.

BRAIN FOOD MENU
The menu for this edition of the BFDP is classic French, infused with the stick to your ribs ingredients of a Calgary winter! Each ingredient is lovingly hand-selected by Chef Quinn and Orsha to ensure it is a bona fide Brain Food (a.k.a. tastes amazing and has solid research backing it). And just to make it extra special for all you neuro-nerds who want to geek out on gut-brain health, too, we’ve also incorporated delicious probiotics AND prebiotics into each dish.
Selected wine and custom created mocktail pairings will accompany each course.

Salmon & Foie Gras Terrine

Palate Cleanser:
This one’s always a surprise—but you can expect a seasonal fruit sorbet with a liver-loving, digestion promoting Digestive (or non-alcoholic version)
