In addition to gathering personal information that you voluntarily provide to us via telephone, email, web browser or in person, NeuroTrition may also collect personal information through the use of two commonly used technologies you may have heard of called (i) Cookies and (ii) Web Beacons. In a nutshell, here’s how and why we use these:

i) Cookies. Like many websites, we use "cookies" to collect certain types of information when your web browser accesses our website. A cookie is a small data file that a web site can send to your browser, which may then be stored on your system. We use cookies to enable you to more easily communicate with, and interact with, our website, and to better serve you when you return to the website. The information collected online also permits us to analyze traffic patterns on our website, enabling us over time to provide you with a better experience by improving our content and services.

Accepting the cookies on our website enables us to identify your system by reading the cookie that has been stored on your system. A cookie will identify your browser but not you to our computer servers when you visit NeuroTrition. We cannot identify you unless you enter personal information. Cookies that are placed cannot be used to obtain your personal information at another website, either. It is never our intention to use cookies to retrieve information that is unrelated to our website or your interaction with our website.

Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies but you may be able to set your browser to notify you before you receive a cookie and to disable cookies. Most browsers tell you how to do so in their "help" section. Because cookies allow you to take advantage of some of neurotrition.ca’s features, we recommend you leave them turned on.Please note: If you disable cookies, some areas of the website may not function properly.

ii) Web beacons. To assess the effectiveness of promotional and marketing e-mails we send, we may attach a web beacon to the email that provides us with confirmation when the recipient opens the e-mail. This only occurs, however, if your computer supports such technology

iv) To improve the quality of your user experience (UX) with our web site and communications, and help us cater to you by creating the most relevant and engaging information including blogs and articles, recipes and other information. We use Cookies (explained above) to improve your UX, and we collect certain information (e.g., time spent on a page, click throughs, etc) based on your navigation of our web site to better understand and serve our customers and web site visitors. These data allow us to streamline the UX for neurotrition.ca and shop.neurotrition.ca so you have the best UX with our website, and also allow us to consistently develop the most relevant and engaging information for you on our website.

v) To improve our products. We look at and assess our product offering purchase with customers in order to determine which products are popular and useful to our customers, and which parts of our products were liked or disliked by our customers. This is so that we can always be making our products better for you.

vi) To better understand how much you like us.
